Tilghman supply a range of custom manufactured welding positioners. Welding positioner are available for small to large weldments with masses of up to 20 tons. Weldments can be rotated in horizontal and vertical planes and raised and lowered depending upon needs.
A properly positioned weldment reduces welder fatigue, increases safety, improves weld quality and saves production floor space. Quality is increased by allowing the operator to weld in easier positioners such as a downhill weld. Safety is significantly enhanced by allowing for rigid constraint of the weldment and not needing the operator to weld in dangerous places such as under the weldment.
